Learning Made Fun
Teachers across the state agree that Culture Boxes promote critical thinking, avenues for visual, auditory and tactile learners. Culture boxes provide teachers with an educational tool to enhance classroom lessons on any subject, and many boxes contain a curriculum to aid in classroom presentations.
What's inside the boxes?
The boxes contain clothing, games, videos, books, toys, musical instruments and other artifacts from around the globe. Your students will be able to touch, feel, and immerse themselves in elements of other cultures.
Each box represents the following countries and cultures:
Arab world, African American, Australia, Bolivia, Brazuk, Canada, China, Chile, Czechs and Slovaks, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Holland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Lebanon, Mexico, Native American, Nigeria, Norway, Oklahoma, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United States, United States/State of Oklahoma, Venezuela, Vietnam, West Africa.
