Culture Box Program

Discover the World through Culture Boxes.
Boxes contain clothing, games, videos, books, toys, musical instruments and other artifacts from around the globe providing students and adults a hands-on experience of world cultures.


Culture Box Endowment Fund

A campaign is in progress to create an endowment fund to insure continued financial support for this wonderful hands-on program. To date, $20,000 has been raised towards the $60,000 goal.

With you donation, you can elect to have a Culture Box named in your honor. Most recently, the French Culture Box has been named the Edwynne Krumme Box to honor a former French professor at The University of Tulsa and generous contributor

A children’s movie benefit is being planned for the Circle Cinema. Emily Wood is chairing the campaign and for further information, please email her at emily_wood46@hotmail.com.

Culture Box Program is a partnership with Tulsa Public School's Eisenhower International School. Funding provided by a grant from the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation.

Culture Boxes are free for use in all Tulsa Public School classrooms.

$15 fee per box for non TPS groups.

Boxes are reserved on 2-week basis

Culture boxes provide teachers with an educational tool to enhance classroom lessons on any subject, and many boxes contain a curriculum to aid in classroom presentations.
