Kids’ World International Curriculum
In 1993, educator Julia Ratliff created a curriculum to provide teachers planning to attend Kids’ World with a guide to use in preparing their students for the field trip. Since then, Kids’ World has expanded its program to include year-round support for teachers, including workshops, online resources, and other preparation for the best use of the festival.

The revised curriculum is written in accordance with PASS (Priority Academic Student Skills) objectives for elementary school students. This guide contains the notations for PASS for third grade. Lessons can be applied across grades, of course.

Use of the curriculum is not required in order for a class to attend Kids’ World. It is simply a tool for those wishing to enhance the experience.

Use of the Curriculum

Tulsa Global Alliance provides workshops prior to Kids’ World to introduce the curriculum, as well as prepare the teachers who have field trips planned to Kids’ World for the best possible experience.

Kids’ World Mission

"To promote understanding and peace by creating an inspiring, entertaining and educational
International children's event which increases tolerance and appreciation of all cultures."

Kids’ World is unique in its single-minded purpose to bring better international understanding to students. The wider distribution of a quality curriculum increases our impact by reaching larger numbers of students.
