As the U.S. increased its presence in the United Arab Emirates, the U.S. government asked Cherokee Federal to help those deployed to the region locate housing, transportation and connect to resources allowing expats to immediately settle in their new communities and focus on their respective missions. This helped ease their transition to a new environment, providing a more rapid start up and improving quality of life for U.S. military and support staff.
When the Department of State wanted to increase security at U.S. ports of entry, we worked with the government of Mexico to improve security at three key airports across Mexico. We delivered, installed and tested TSA-approved equipment, helping strengthen border security in a constantly evolving risk environment.
Our team partnered with the government of Colombia to develop a process to organically fund narcotics eradications programs. We worked with attorneys, appraisers, auditors and other experts to develop a strategy to manage new processes from start to finish – including developing a playbook so officials across the region could apply the lessons learned in future narcotics asset seizures and sales.
As a population of resettlement survivors and their descendants, the Cherokee Nation is determined to bring hope and inspiration to vulnerable and marginalized immigrant populations around the world. Cherokee Federal has partnered with government agencies and community service organizations in response to humanitarian crises around the world. In California, we cared for unaccompanied children fleeing violence and crime in the Emerald Triangle and reunited them with parents and family members. In support of Operation Allies Welcome, we led the initial intake, processing and screening of more than 85,000 Afghanallies who fled their country to seek safety in the U.S.
Cherokee Federal is honored to serve the critical interests of our nation – both at home and abroad. To learn more about our work, please visit us at Cherokee-Federal.com.
