World in a Box Day 2022: Utsunomiya
At World in a Box Day in August, the Utsunomiya table offered hands-on cultural activities for children, including translating their names into Japanese, stamping event passports, folding origami Pokémon, and playing the popular Japanese drumming game “Taiko no Tatsujin.” The booth provided a fun and interactive introduction to Japanese culture and highlighted Tulsa’s connection to its Sister City of Utsunomiya.
