Professional Exchanges
Tulsa Global Alliance is the only organization in Oklahoma that implements the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). Through this flagship professional exchange, TGA welcomes international delegations to Tulsa for short-term programs focused on civic engagement, economic development, education, and community leadership. IVLP participants are nominated by U.S. Embassies and take part in structured exchanges designed to foster collaboration, mutual understanding, and long-term global connections.

IVLP participants are emerging and established leaders nominated by U.S. Embassies for their professional achievements and commitment to positive change in their home communities.
Delegations represent a wide range of sectors, including government, education, business, media, civil society, and nonprofit leadership. Participants are selected based on their potential to influence policy, practice, and community outcomes in their countries.

IVLP and other professional exchange participants take part in structured, theme-based schedules designed by Tulsa Global Alliance in collaboration with national partners and local organizations.
