Night Market with Beihai Partnership

On May 19, 2023, Nam Hai Oriental Market hosted a lively Night Market in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The event brought together families, students, and community members for an evening filled with food, culture, and celebration.

Visitors explored vendor booths, enjoyed traditional and modern Asian snacks, and learned more about the many cultures represented across the AAPI community. The Night Market provided an accessible and festive way for Tulsans to celebrate the diversity that strengthens our city.

Events like this help build greater awareness of Tulsa’s global connections and the communities that make our city vibrant. The Tulsa–Beihai Sister City Partnership was proud to participate in recognizing AAPI Heritage Month and the cultural traditions honored through this celebration.
