IVLP Visitors Explore Women in Manufacturing and STEM Pathways

In October 2023, IVLP participants from Canada and Mexico visited Tulsa as part of the exchange theme Women in Manufacturing: Building Back Better.

As part of the program, the delegation toured NORDAM to learn about advanced manufacturing in the aerospace sector and discuss leadership, workforce development, and innovation. The visit highlighted pathways for women in technical and manufacturing careers.

The group also met with Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma to share insights on STEM education for girls. Conversations focused on early access to STEM learning, mentorship, and building long term pipelines into manufacturing and technical fields.
