Delegation Member Kuma Roberts Shares Insights from Visit to Mwanza

Kuma Roberts, President of the Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce, recently shared her reflections on visiting Mwanza, Tanzania, as part of the Tulsa delegation in October 2023. Her experience offered a meaningful look at the connections being built between Tulsa and its Sister City on the shores of Lake Victoria.

During the visit, Roberts engaged with community leaders, explored local initiatives, and saw firsthand the opportunities for collaboration between the two cities. Her insights continue to shape TGA’s understanding of how people-to-people diplomacy can inspire shared learning and long-term partnership.
