Screening of Petite Maman at Circle Cinema
The Tulsa Amiens Sister City Partnership hosted a special screening of the French film “Petite Maman” in cooperation with Circle Cinema and Alliance Française de Tulsa. The event brought together a wonderful turnout of community members who joined to celebrate French storytelling and the connection between Tulsa and its Sister City of Amiens.
Before the screening, Judy Glenn and Wendy Sheets shared introductory remarks and dedicated the film to the memory of Cathy Izzo, whose decades of service and care shaped the Sister Cities program in Tulsa. Circle Cinema also posted a tribute to Cathy, reflecting the impact she had on partners across Tulsa’s international community.
The evening offered both a meaningful cultural experience and a heartfelt remembrance of a beloved leader who supported countless exchanges and friendships between Tulsa and communities around the world.
