International Librarians Visit Tulsa Libraries

In January 2024, Tulsa welcomed a group of librarians from Mongolia as part of a professional exchange themed Exploring the United States through Libraries.

During their visit, the delegation spent time at the Sac and Fox National Public Library, learning how libraries in the United States serve as community hubs for education, cultural preservation, and public access to information. Conversations focused on library operations, community engagement, and the evolving role of libraries in civic life.

The exchange provided an opportunity for shared learning and professional dialogue, highlighting how libraries around the world support literacy, lifelong learning, and cross-cultural understanding.
