IVLP French Museum Managers Exchange Featured in Global Ties U.S. Newsletter

In November 2022, Tulsa Global Alliance hosted French museum professionals as part of a U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) focused on Building Relationships Between Native American Communities and French Museums.

The project was designed to foster professional dialogue around museum leadership, cultural preservation, community engagement, and collaboration between Indigenous communities and cultural institutions in the United States and France. Tulsa Global Alliance coordinated the local program in partnership with Native nations, museums, and arts organizations across Oklahoma, drawing on long-standing relationships and expertise in cultural exchange.

The Tulsa portion of this IVLP exchange was later featured in the Global Ties U.S. newsletter, highlighting Tulsa Global Alliance’s role in advancing people-to-people diplomacy and international collaboration in the arts and humanities.
