Friendship Across Borders at World in a Box Day

At World in a Box Day in August, a group of five Tulsa friends — originally from Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine — stood together to celebrate global connection. Their long friendship reflects the event’s purpose: to highlight how culture, understanding, and community can transcend conflict and national divides. Their presence offered a powerful reminder of the shared humanity that binds people across borders.
