IVLP Spotlight: Women’s Entrepreneurship and Economic Prosperity
Twenty-three women entrepreneurs from 23 countries visited Tulsa through the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program. During their stay, they met with local business leaders, explored cultural sites, and connected with the Tulsa community through home hospitality and hands-on experiences.
IVLP Spotlight: Transitional Justice in Africa and the United States
In April 2024, Tulsa hosted a multinational delegation from Africa focused on transitional justice in the United States and abroad. Through meetings with Greenwood Rising, the Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce, and Native legal advocates, the group explored history, reconciliation, and pathways toward justice through global dialogue.

In January 2024, librarians from Mongolia visited Tulsa as part of a professional exchange focused on exploring the United States through libraries. Their time at the Sac and Fox National Public Library highlighted the role libraries play in community connection, education, and cultural exchange.
